Job Description
As an Amazon Picker/Packer, you will play a key role in our fulfillment process, ensuring that customer orders are accurately picked, packed, and shipped in a timely manner. You will work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where teamwork and attention to detail are paramount. Our Picker/Packers are essential to keeping our operations running smoothly and ensuring customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
- Ability to stand/walk for up to 10 hours
- Good communication skills
- Basic computer skills
- Reliable transportation to work
Physical Requirements
- Standing and walking for prolonged periods
- Lifting, bending, reaching, and crouching
- Handling packages up to 50 lbs
- Operating warehouse equipment
- Working in various temperature conditions
Responsibilities
- Pick customer orders using handheld scanners
- Pack items securely for shipping
- Label packages accurately
- Sort and organize inventory
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace
- Follow safety protocols and procedures
- Assist with other warehouse tasks as needed
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks
