What You’ll Contribute

As a Receiving Associate, you will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and recording shipments with precision. You will actively contribute to a team environment that values efficiency and accuracy.

Key Responsibilities

Receive and process incoming shipments, verifying the accuracy of items received.
Inspect shipments for damages and discrepancies, reporting any issues promptly.
Maintain accurate records of all incoming shipments, ensuring data is entered into the system correctly.
Organize and store received items in designated areas, following warehouse protocols.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and timely processing of shipments.
Assist with inventory management, conducting regular counts and audits.
Adhere to all safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience in a warehouse or receiving role is preferred.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Physical ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 pounds).
Basic computer skills for data entry and record-keeping.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent is required; additional education or certifications in logistics or supply chain management are a plus.
Previous experience in a receiving or warehouse role is preferred.
Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently.

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds regularly.
Standing and walking for extended periods.
Bending, stooping, and reaching as needed.
Comfortable working in varying temperatures within the warehouse environment.
