As a Sortation Center Associate, you will contribute by:
- Sorting packages based on size and destination.
- Loading and unloading packages from delivery vehicles.
- Operating sorting machinery and other equipment.
- Ensuring all packages are handled with care to prevent damage.
- Maintaining a clean and organized work area.
- Collaborating with team members to meet daily productivity goals.
- Adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to lift packages up to 49 pounds.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Basic computer skills.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is a plus.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 49 pounds.
- Ability to stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach during shifts.
- Comfortable working on a secure mezzanine at a height of up to 40 feet.
