Job Description
As an Amazon Warehouse Area Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, managing a team of associates, and ensuring that performance targets are met. Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a management role within a warehouse or distribution center.
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand/walk for extended periods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and warehouse management software.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and lead a team of warehouse associates, providing coaching and feedback to ensure high performance.
- Monitor and optimize daily warehouse operations to meet productivity and quality targets.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies.
- Assist in inventory management, including cycle counts and stock rotation.
- Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless order fulfillment.
- Analyze performance data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient warehouse environment.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Logistics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
- Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and warehouse management software.
