Job Description

Amazon is seeking dedicated, hardworking individuals to join our dynamic team of Warehouse Distribution Associates in Lockport. This full-time position offers a competitive hourly wage and a host of benefits. As an Amazon Warehouse Distribution Associate, you will be responsible for a variety of tasks that ensure products reach our customers promptly and in perfect condition.

Responsibilities

Receiving and Stowing: Unload, receive, and store products accurately and safely, ensuring no damage during the process.
Picking and Packing: Pick customer orders on all levels of a multi-level mezzanine, pack and ship orders in a timely manner.
Inventory Management: Conduct regular cycle counts and maintain inventory accuracy.
Quality Control: Inspect products for defects and damages before shipment.
Safety Procedures: Adhere to safety guidelines and procedures to maintain a safe work environment.
Equipment Handling: Operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, and other machinery.
Team Collaboration: Work collaboratively with team members to meet daily and weekly production targets.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years old
Ability to lift up to 49 pounds
Stand/walk for up to 10-12 hours per shift
Willingness to work on a flexible schedule, including nights and weekends
Strong attention to detail
Basic computer skills
Good communication skills

Physical Requirements

Ability to lift, bend, reach above the head, kneel, crouch, and/or stretch during shifts.
Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time.
Comfortable working in an environment with varying temperatures.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent
Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Strong organizational skills
Ability to follow directions and adhere to safety guidelines
