Key Responsibilities:
- Receiving and Inspecting Shipments: Unload, check, and record incoming shipments for accuracy.
- Inventory Management: Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular audits to ensure data integrity.
- Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring high levels of accuracy and timeliness.
- Quality Control: Inspect products for defects and report any discrepancies.
- Warehouse Organization: Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe by following established procedures.
- Equipment Operation: Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment as needed.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues to meet daily, weekly, and monthly targets.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse or distribution experience is a plus.
- Basic computer skills for inventory management.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Frequent lifting, bending, stretching, and reaching.
- Standing and walking throughout the shift.
- Using warehouse equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in a warehouse setting is beneficial but not required.
- Basic understanding of inventory management systems.
- Forklift certification is a plus but can be obtained on the job.
