Key Responsibilities
- Accurate Order Picking: Use handheld scanners to pick items from shelves accurately.
- Quality Control: Ensure that picked items meet quality standards before packaging.
- Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stock shortages.
- Safety Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with team members to achieve daily targets and operational goals.
- Efficiency Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement to enhance operational efficiency.
- Customer Focus: Ensure that customer orders are picked and dispatched with the highest level of accuracy and timeliness.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer skills for inventory management
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to lift and move items up to 50 pounds
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
Physical Requirements
- Standing and walking for extended periods
- Frequent bending, lifting, and reaching
- Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely
- Comfortable working in a noisy and busy environment
Qualifications
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus
- Familiarity with inventory management systems is advantageous
