Job Description
As an Amazon Warehouse Support Associate, you will play a crucial role in our fulfillment process. Your primary responsibilities will include sorting, scanning, and stacking packages, as well as assisting in the overall organization and cleanliness of the warehouse. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment and enjoy being part of a supportive team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Package Handling: Sort, scan, and stack packages efficiently to meet customer demand.
- Inventory Management: Assist with inventory counts and organization to ensure accuracy.
- Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks.
- Load and Unload Trucks: Help load and unload delivery vehicles promptly and safely.
- Maintain Cleanliness: Keep the warehouse clean and organized to ensure a safe working environment.
- Quality Assurance: Inspect packages for damage and report any issues to the supervisor.
- Collaboration: Work closely with team members and supervisors to meet daily productivity goals.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs regularly
- Comfortable with standing and walking for extended periods
- Basic computer skills for inventory tracking
- Strong attention to detail
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required
