NYC-Sales Inc. is seeking a dynamic and motivated Automotive Sales Representative to join our thriving team. Key Responsibilities:
1. **Customer Engagement:** Welcome customers to the dealership, answer their questions, listen to their needs, and guide them through the sales process.
2. **Product Knowledge:** Stay updated on all models, features, options, prices, and financing options. Demonstrate vehicle features and take customers on test drives.
3. **Sales Targets:** Meet or exceed sales goals and objectives set by the management.
4. **Documentation:** Handle all paperwork associated with the sales process, ensuring accuracy and compliance with laws and regulations.
5. **Follow-Up:** Maintain regular follow-up with prospective and current customers to build strong relationships and encourage repeat and referral business.
6. **Team Collaboration:** Work closely with the sales team, finance department, and management to achieve the overall goals of the dealership.
7. **Market Awareness:** Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in the automotive industry and competitor activities to provide insightful advice to customers.
Requirements:
1. Prior experience in automotive sales or a similar role.
2. Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
3. Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
4. Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
5. Physical requirements include the ability to stand for long periods, walk, and occasionally lift up to 25 pounds.
6. High school diploma or equivalent; additional education in sales, marketing, or related field is a plus.
7. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
Qualifications:
1. **Education:** High school diploma or equivalent required. Postsecondary education in sales or marketing preferred.
2. **Experience:** Previous experience in automotive sales is highly desirable.
3. **Skills:** Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong negotiation skills, and ability to close deals effectively.
4. **Attributes:** Must be self-motivated, goal-oriented, and have a positive attitude.
5. **Technical:** Familiarity with CRM systems and automotive industry technology.
6. **Legal:** Must have a clean driving license and pass a background check.
