Job Description:
NYC-Retail Inc. is seeking a dedicated Checkout Assistant with a passion for customer service to join our team. Your responsibilities will include scanning items, processing payments, and managing cash transactions.

Requirements:
– High school diploma or equivalent.
– Previous experience in retail or customer service preferred.

– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
– Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
Responsibilities:
– Greet customers warmly and provide assistance as needed.
– Scan items and process transactions accurately and efficiently.
– Handle cash, credit, and debit transactions securely.
– Resolve customer issues or complaints in a professional manner.
– Keep the checkout area organized and clutter-free.
– Assist with stocking shelves and maintaining product displays.
– Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations.
