Job Description
At NYC-Retail Inc., we pride ourselves on creating a vibrant and welcoming atmosphere for both our employees and customers at Chelsea Market. As a Retail Associate, you will be the face of our brand, engaging with customers and providing them with the exceptional service they expect.
Your primary responsibilities will include greeting customers as they enter the store, assisting them with their inquiries, and providing product recommendations. You will also be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the store, ensuring shelves are stocked and displays are properly arranged.
In addition to customer service, you will be involved in processing transactions at the cash register, handling cash, and managing customer returns and exchanges. We are looking for team players who can work collaboratively with other associates and management to create a positive work environment.

Requirements
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Previous retail or customer service experience preferred
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
– Flexibility to work weekends and holidays
– Basic math skills for cash handling
– Physical ability to stand for long periods and lift up to 30 pounds
Responsibilities
– Greet customers warmly and assist them with their shopping needs
– Maintain cleanliness and organization of the retail space
