Job Description

In this role, you will be responsible for organizing and displaying merchandise in accordance with company guidelines and visual merchandising standards. You will assist with inventory restocking, ensuring that products are easily accessible for our customers.
Your role will also include monitoring product levels and expiration dates, reporting discrepancies to management, and assisting with product pricing and promotions. You will have the opportunity to collaborate with the sales team to develop creative merchandising strategies that attract customers and drive sales.
Additionally, you will provide outstanding customer service, answering inquiries and helping customers locate products. You will be an integral part of our team, fostering a positive work environment and contributing to the overall success of NYC-Retail Inc.
Requirements
– High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
– Previous retail or merchandising experience is a plus but not required.
– Strong communication skills and a customer-focused attitude.
– Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
– Basic math skills for inventory management.
– Attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
– Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Responsibilities
– Organize and maintain merchandise displays according to company standards.
– Assist with inventory management, including stock replenishment and organization.
– Monitor product levels and report any discrepancies to management.
– Collaborate with the sales team on merchandising strategies.
– Provide excellent customer service, assisting shoppers with inquiries.
– Participate in promotional events and seasonal resets.
– Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
