Job Description
As a Part-Time Retail Sales Consultant at NYC-Retail Inc., your primary responsibility will be to engage with customers and assist them in finding the products that best meet their needs. You’ll be expected to maintain a high level of product knowledge to provide accurate information and recommendations.
Your role will include processing transactions efficiently and accurately while ensuring a smooth checkout experience. Additionally, you will assist in maintaining the store’s visual presentation, restocking shelves, and ensuring that the sales floor is tidy and organized.

Requirements
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Previous retail sales experience is preferred but not required
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
– Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
– A positive attitude and a passion for customer service
– Physical requirements include standing for extended periods, lifting up to 25 lbs, and the ability to navigate a retail environment
Responsibilities
– Greet customers as they enter the store and provide assistance as needed
– Maintain a thorough understanding of product offerings and promotions
– Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently
– Ensure the sales floor is clean, organized, and visually appealing
– Restock merchandise and assist with inventory management
– Engage with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable products
– Participate in team meetings and contribute to a positive work environment
Qualifications
– Must be at least 18 years old
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
– Comfortable using point-of-sale systems and technology
