Job Description
As a Part-Time Sales Agent at NYC-Sales Inc., you will be the face of our electronics store, representing our brand and ensuring a memorable shopping experience for every customer. Your primary contribution will be to engage customers through knowledgeable, friendly service and assist them in finding products that meet their needs. You will support the team by achieving sales goals, maintaining store standards, and staying updated on the latest electronic products and trends.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Proven sales or customer service experience
- Strong knowledge of electronic products and technology
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide outstanding service by answering questions and helping them find products
- Achieve personal and store sales targets through effective sales techniques
- Maintain knowledge of current sales, promotions, and electronics products features
- Ensure the store is clean, organized, and well-stocked at all times
- Handle customer transactions, returns, and exchanges efficiently and accurately
- Assist in inventory management, including restocking shelves and performing regular stock checks
- Participate in ongoing training programs to stay knowledgeable about new products and sales techniques
Qualifications
- Experience in retail sales or a related field is preferred
- Strong understanding of electronic products and technology trends
- Superior customer service skills and a positive, friendly attitude
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficient in using point-of-sale systems and related software
