Job Description
At NYC-Retail Inc., our Product Stockers are responsible for the effective stocking of products on our shelves and ensuring that our store layout is both appealing and accessible to customers. You will work alongside a dedicated team to receive, unpack, and organize merchandise, while also monitoring inventory levels. Daily tasks will include moving products from the back of the store to the sales floor, implementing proper signage, and maintaining cleanliness in all areas of the store.

As a Product Stocker, you will play a key role in making sure that our customers can easily find what they need. This position requires physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy items, as well as the capability to stand for extended periods.

In addition to stocking responsibilities, you will also assist in inventory management, ensuring that products are rotated properly and that outdated items are removed promptly.
Requirements
– High school diploma or equivalent preferred
– Previous experience in retail or stocking preferred
– Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods
– Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work independently and as part of a team
– Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
Physical Requirements
– Ability to perform repetitive tasks
– Capable of bending, stretching, and reaching
– Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
Responsibilities
– Stock shelves with merchandise efficiently and accurately
– Assist in receiving and unpacking new inventory shipments
– Ensure all products are properly labeled and organized
– Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the stockroom and sales floor
– Monitor inventory levels and inform management of low stock items
– Collaborate with team members to achieve daily stocking goals
– Provide excellent customer service by answering questions and assisting customers as needed
Qualifications
– Previous experience in retail, merchandising, or stocking is a plus
– Strong problem-solving skills and ability to prioritize tasks
– A proactive attitude towards learning and development
