Job Description
NYC-Sales Inc. is seeking a dynamic and friendly Retail Cashier & Sales Associate to join our team. As a Retail Cashier & Sales Associate, you will play a crucial role in the customer shopping experience by providing excellent customer service, managing sales transactions, and maintaining a well-organized store environment. This position requires a person who is customer-focused, detail-oriented, and has a passion for retail.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous retail or cashier experience preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work flexible hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Basic math skills and ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Physical ability to stand for long periods, lift up to 25 pounds, and perform repetitive tasks
Responsibilities
- Greet customers and provide them with a positive shopping experience
- Process sales transactions quickly and accurately
- Maintain store cleanliness and organization
- Assist in stocking shelves and inventory management
- Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly
- Promote sales, specials, and loyalty programs
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals
Qualifications
