Job Description
As a Retail Cleaner at NYC-Retail Inc., you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of our store and ensuring that all areas are well-kept and presentable. You will work in various settings within the retail environment, including sales floors, restrooms, break rooms, and storage areas. Your day-to-day tasks will involve sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing surfaces to create an inviting atmosphere for our customers and staff.
The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work independently. You will be expected to follow all safety protocols while using cleaning supplies and equipment. Additionally, you will need to communicate effectively with team members and management to report any maintenance issues or safety hazards.
Requirements
– High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
– Previous experience in cleaning or janitorial work is a plus.
– Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
– Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.

– Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends.
– Physical ability to perform cleaning tasks, including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Physical Requirements

– Manual dexterity to operate cleaning equipment and tools.
Responsibilities
– Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas regularly.
– Sweep, mop, and vacuum floors to maintain cleanliness.
– Dust and wipe down shelves, displays, and fixtures.
– Empty trash receptacles and recycle bins.
– Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
– Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify management when reordering is needed.
– Adhere to safety and health regulations while using cleaning products.
Qualifications
