Job Description
We are seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Sales Advisor with a passion for gardening to join our dynamic team at GreenThumb Gardens Inc. Our Sales Advisors are responsible for delivering outstanding customer service, assisting customers with their garden supply needs, and driving sales to meet company objectives.
Responsibilities:
- Engage with customers to understand their gardening needs and provide appropriate advice and solutions.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of our product range, including new garden supplies and seasonal items.
- Assist with inventory management, including stocking shelves and ensuring product availability.
- Provide support for promotional activities and in-store events related to garden supplies.
- Handle transactions efficiently and accurately using the point of sale systems.
- Ensure the garden supplies section is organized, clean, and visually appealing.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve store goals and enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements:
- High school diploma or equivalent; an associate degree in horticulture or related field is a plus.
- Proven experience in retail, preferably within the garden supplies or home improvement sector.
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
- Basic computer skills for inventory and point of sale systems.
- Physical ability to lift and carry items up to 50 pounds, and stand for extended periods.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a similar role is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of gardening products and practices.
- Ability to multi-task and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
- Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as part of a team.
