As a Sales Agent, you will be responsible for greeting and assisting customers, answering product questions, and ensuring each customer leaves our store satisfied. You will play an integral part in driving sales by providing knowledgeable and friendly service, managing transactions efficiently, and ensuring the store is well-maintained and visually appealing.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous retail or sales experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Basic math skills for handling transactions.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Availability to work night shifts, weekends, and holidays as required.
Responsibilities
- Provide outstanding customer service by greeting and assisting customers warmly.
- Answer questions regarding products, services, and store policies.
- Process sales transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Maintain the store’s appearance by organizing merchandise and ensuring displays are tidy.
- Stay informed about sales and promotions to assist customers effectively.
- Monitor inventory levels and assist in restocking shelves as needed.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and store objectives.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional education or training in sales or retail management is a plus.
- Previous experience in a retail environment, particularly in furniture sales, is preferred.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and provide excellent service under pressure.
- Basic computer skills for processing transactions.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, and lift items throughout the shift.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
