Job Description
Are you passionate about home decor and sales? NYC-Sales Inc. is looking for an enthusiastic and dynamic Sales Consultant to join our team. As a Sales Consultant, you will play a key role in enhancing our customers’ homes with elegant and stylish decor. You will use your keen eye for design, exceptional customer service skills, and sales expertise to drive sales and grow our brand.
Requirements:
- High School Diploma or equivalent; a degree in interior design or related field is a plus
- Proven experience in sales, preferably in home decor or a related industry
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings and weekends
- Basic computer skills, including MS Office
- Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 25 lbs, stand for extended periods, and move between showroom floors
Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist customers in the showroom, understanding their needs and preferences
- Provide expert advice on home decor items and recommend products that meet customers’ needs
- Achieve individual sales targets and contribute to team sales goals
- Maintain the visual standards of the showroom, ensuring displays are presentable and enticing
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
- Follow up with customers to ensure satisfaction and build long-term relationships
- Keep abreast of the latest home decor trends and products
