Job Description
As a part-time Sales Floor Associate at NYC-Retail Inc., you will play a key role in creating a positive shopping experience for our customers. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting customers on the sales floor, restocking merchandise, and maintaining a clean and organized environment. You will be the face of our company, embodying our values of integrity, quality, and customer satisfaction.
In this role, you will engage with customers, providing them with exceptional service, answering questions, and offering product recommendations. You will also assist in visual merchandising, ensuring that products are displayed attractively and in accordance with store standards. Requirements
– High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
– Prior retail experience is a plus but not mandatory.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Strong customer service orientation.
– Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
– Basic math skills for handling transactions.
– Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Responsibilities
– Greet and assist customers promptly and courteously.
– Maintain a clean and organized sales floor and stockroom.
– Restock shelves and ensure merchandise is displayed attractively.
– Process transactions accurately at the cash register.
– Answer customers’ questions and provide product information.
– Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets.
– Assist in visual merchandising and promotional displays.
