Job Description
NYC-Sales Inc. is seeking a dynamic and motivated Sales Representative – Home Improvement to join our talented team. In this role, you will leverage your sales expertise and customer service skills to promote and sell our wide range of home improvement products and services. Your goal will be to understand our customers’ needs, educate them on our offerings, and deliver outstanding service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
As a Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing the entire sales cycle from prospecting to closing deals. You will work closely with customers to assess their home improvement needs, provide tailored recommendations, and offer solutions that best meet their requirements. This position requires excellent communication skills, a strong sales acumen, and a passion for helping customers improve their homes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the home improvement industry
- Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets
- Strong customer service skills and ability to build long-lasting relationships
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Must be able to lift up to 25 pounds
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
Responsibilities
- Actively seek out and engage potential customers through various channels such as referrals, cold calling, and networking
- Conduct in-home consultations to assess customer needs and provide personalized home improvement solutions
- Create and deliver compelling sales presentations to prospective clients, highlighting the benefits of our products and services
- Negotiate contracts and pricing to close sales and achieve revenue targets
- Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and transactions in CRM software
- Provide exceptional post-sales support to ensure customer satisfaction and address any concerns
- Stay updated on industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities to identify new business opportunities
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; a bachelor’s degree in business or a related field is preferred
- 2+ years of proven sales experience, ideally in the home improvement sector
- Strong problem-solving skills and a results-oriented mindset
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Proficient in using MS Office and CRM software
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
