Job Description
NYC-Retail Inc. is seeking a dedicated Store Attendant to join our vibrant team! As a part-time Store Attendant, you will be the face of our retail operation, engaging with customers and ensuring our store remains a clean, organized, and welcoming environment. Your primary responsibilities will include assisting customers, managing inventory, and supporting daily store operations. In this position, you will be responsible for providing outstanding customer service by greeting customers, answering inquiries, and facilitating a positive shopping experience. You will also assist in restocking shelves, organizing merchandise, and maintaining store cleanliness. Requirements
– High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
– Previous retail or customer service experience is a plus.
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
– Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
– Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
– Basic math skills for handling transactions.
– Physical ability to lift up to 30 pounds and stand for extended periods.
Responsibilities
– Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
– Maintain store cleanliness and ensure merchandise is organized and stocked.
– Process transactions accurately at the cash register.
– Assist in inventory management, including receiving and restocking products.
– Support promotional events and sales initiatives.
– Report any safety or security concerns to management.
– Collaborate with team members to achieve sales goals and improve customer satisfaction.
Qualifications
