What You Will Contribute
As a Store Sales Associate, you will be the face of NYC-Retail Inc. to our customers. Your contributions will include providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a clean and organized store, and assisting with merchandise displays. You will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere that encourages customers to return.
Job Description
As a part of our team, your primary responsibility will be to ensure our customers have a positive shopping experience. You will engage with customers, answer their inquiries, and help them find the products they need. Your friendly demeanor and product knowledge will help establish trust and drive sales.
In addition to customer service, you will assist with inventory management, including receiving, organizing, and restocking merchandise. You will also ensure that the sales floor is visually appealing by arranging products according to our merchandising standards. As a member of our team, you will participate in training sessions to stay knowledgeable about our products and services.
We value teamwork and communication, so collaborating with your colleagues to meet store goals is essential. You will also be involved in promotional activities, helping to execute sales campaigns and store events that enhance customer engagement.
Requirements
– High school diploma or equivalent
– Previous retail experience preferred but not required
– Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
– Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
– Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
– Basic math skills for handling transactions
– Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
Physical Requirements
– Must be able to stand for long periods and perform repetitive motions
– Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 25 pounds, as required by the job
Responsibilities
