Responsibilities
- Greet and assist customers with a friendly and engaging attitude.
- Offer knowledgeable book recommendations based on customer preferences.
- Manage sales transactions efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain the organization and cleanliness of the store.
- Restock shelves and manage inventory levels.
- Assist with in-store events and promotions.
- Provide excellent customer service and address any concerns professionally.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under 4 hours per day on weekends.
- A passion for books and reading.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Basic computer skills for processing transactions and managing inventory.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in retail or customer service is preferred but not required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask.
